Abstract

LED tube light including light tube and end cap, in which end cap includes an insulating tubular part and a thermal conductive ring, thermal conductive ring fixedly arranged on outer circumferential surface of insulating tubular part, end cap sleeved over an end of light tube, and thermal conductive ring adhesively bonded to light tube is disclosed herein. Insulating tubular part has first and second tubular parts that are connected along axial direction of light tube, outer diameter of second tubular part is less than outer diameter of first tubular part, and thermal conductive ring is sleeved over second tubular part, in which outer surface of thermal conductive ring and outer circumferential surface of first tubular part are substantially flush with each other. End of second tubular part has notches, spatially arranged along circumferential direction thereof. Thermal conductive ring can be tubular metal ring, and insulating tubular part can be plastic.

Claims

1. An LED tube light, comprising:

a plurality of LED light sources;

a light tube; and

an end cap;

wherein the end cap comprises an insulating tubular part and a thermal conductive ring, the thermal conductive ring is fixedly arranged on an outer circumferential surface of the insulating tubular part, the end cap is sleeved over an end of the light tube, and the thermal conductive ring is adhesively bonded to the light tube by an adhesive that contacts the thermal conductive ring and the light tube, wherein the adhesive is a hot melt adhesive, and the thermal conductive ring is for melting the hot melt adhesive during a bonding process.

2. The LED tube light of claim 1, wherein an extending length of

the light tube into the end cap is ⅓

to ⅔

of a total length of the thermal conductive ring in an axial direction thereof.

3. The LED tube light of claim 1, wherein the thermal conductive ring is tubular in shape.

4. An LED tube light comprising:

a plurality of LED light sources;

a light tube; and

an end cap;

wherein the end cap comprises an insulating tubular part and a thermal conductive ring, the thermal conductive ring is fixedly arranged on an outer circumferential surface of the insulating tubular part, the end cap is sleeved over an end of the light tube, and the thermal conductive ring is adhesively bonded to the light tube by a hot melt adhesive, and the thermal conductive ring is for melting the hot melt adhesive during a bonding process,

wherein the insulating tubular part of the end cap comprises a first tubular part and a second tubular part, the first tubular part is connected to the second tubular part along an axial direction of the light tube, an outer diameter of the second tubular part is less than an outer diameter of the first tubular part, and

wherein the thermal conductive ring is sleeved over the second tubular part, and an outer surface of the thermal conductive ring and an outer circumferential surface of the first tubular part are substantially flush with each other.

5. The LED tube light of claim 4, wherein the second

tubular part of the end cap is at least partially sleeved over the light tube.

6. The LED tube light of claim 4, wherein an end of

the second tubular part located away from the first tubular part includes a plurality of notches, and the notches are spatially arranged along a circumferential direction of the second tubular part.

7. The LED tube light of claim 4, wherein the thermal conductive ring is a metal ring.

8. The LED tube light of claim 4, wherein the insulating tubular part of the end cap is a plastic tube.

9. The LED tube light of claim 4, wherein the light tube is a glass tube.

10. The LED tube light of claim 8, wherein the light

tube comprises a main region and a plurality of end regions, each of the end regions is disposed and connected at one end of the main region, respectively, an outer diameter of at least a first end region of the end regions is less than the outer diameter of the main region, and the outer diameter of the end cap located adjacent to the first end region is same as the outer diameter of the main region of the light tube.

11. The LED tube light of claim 10, wherein an outer

diameter difference between the first end region and the main region is 1 mm to 10 mm.

12. The LED tube light of claim 11, wherein the

outer diameter difference between the first end region and the main region is 2 mm to 7 mm.

13. The LED tube light of claim 10, wherein the light

tube further includes a transition region disposed between the main region and the first end region, and a length of the transition region is between 1 mm to 4 mm.

14. The LED tube light of claim 13, wherein the inner

surface of the second tubular part, the inner surface of the thermal conductive ring, the outer surface of the first end region and the outer surface of the transition region together form an accommodation space and the hot melt adhesive is disposed therein.

15. The LED tube light of claim 14, wherein the hot

melt adhesive only partially fills the accommodation space.

16. The LED tube light of claim 14, wherein a

portion of the hot melt adhesive is disposed between the inner surface of the second tubular part and the outer surface of the first end region.

17. The LED tube light of claim 14, wherein the hot melt adhesive

is filled inside the accommodation space, and upon filling and curing of the hot melt adhesive, the thermal conductive ring is bonded to an outer surface of the light tube by the hot melt adhesive therebetween at a first location.

18. The LED tube light of claim 17, wherein upon

filling and curing of the hot melt adhesive, the second tubular part is bonded to the first end region of the light tube by the hot melt adhesive therebetween at a second location.

19. An LED tube light, comprising:

a plurality of LED light sources;

a glass light tube; and

two end caps;

wherein each of the end caps comprises an insulating tubular part and a thermal

conductive ring, the thermal conductive ring is fixedly arranged on an outer circumferential surface of the insulating tubular part, the end cap is sleeved over an end of the glass light tube, and the thermal conductive ring is adhesively bonded to the glass light tube using a hot melt adhesive disposed between the glass light tube and the thermal conductive ring, wherein the thermal conductive ring is for melting the hot melt adhesive during a bonding process.

20. The LED tube light of claim 19, wherein both the

insulating tubular part and the thermal conductive ring on each end cap are disposed around an outer circumferential surface of the glass light tube.

21. An LED tube light, comprising:

a plurality of LED light sources;

a glass light tube comprising a main region, two end regions, and two transition

regions disposed between the main region and the end regions; and

two end caps;

wherein each of the end caps comprises an insulating part and a thermal

conductive ring, the thermal conductive ring surrounds the insulating part, the end cap is sleeved over an end region of the glass light tube, and the thermal conductive ring is adhesively bonded to the glass light tube using a hot melt adhesive disposed between the glass light tube and the thermal conductive ring, wherein the thermal conductive ring is for melting the hot melt adhesive during a bonding process.
