1. A method for geo-location services in relation to a user at a predetermined location, the method comprising:
- monitoring, by a monitoring component of a control panel of an automation system, a physiological condition of the user based on data obtained from at least one sensors associated with the user at the predetermined location, wherein the control panel is at the predetermined location;
receiving, by the control panel, data from a sensor of the monitoring component, indicating a first sequence of motion associated with the user;
wherein the sensor comprises a video sensor for detecting the first sequence of motion that uniquely identities the user;
identifying, by the control panel, an identity of the user based on the data indicating the first sequence of motion associated with the identified user;
receiving, by the control panel via the monitoring component, data from the at least one sensors indicating a second sequence of motion associated with the identified user, wherein the at least one sensors comprises a motion sensor;
determining, by the control panel, a change in the physiological condition based on the data indicating the second sequence of motion;
wherein the change in the physiological condition indicates a fall detection of the identified user;
upon determining the fall detection of the identified user, querying, by the component of the control panel, the identified user for a response;
identifying, by the control panel, that the change in the physiological condition satisfies an emergency situation in relation to the identified user at the predetermined location and detecting vital signs of the identified user, in response to the change in the physiological condition, to determine whether the vital signs of the identified user are within a predetermined physiological range for the identified user;
wherein the emergency situation comprises the fall detection of the identified user and the identified user being home alone or being unable to get up based on at least a movement or a non-movement of the identified user satisfying a movement threshold;
upon receiving no response from the identified user based on the querying, determining, by the control panel, a first location of a first contact and a second location of a second contact associated with the identity of the user and the emergency situation in relation to the identified user at the predetermined location, the first location and the second location being different from the predetermined location; and
upon identifying the emergency situation, sending, by the control panel, a notification message to a device associated with at least one of the first contact and the second contact based on the determining the first location and the second location, the notification message comprising a temporary code to unlock a door lock at the predetermined location within a predetermined time period.

A method for geo-location services is described. In one embodiment, the method includes monitoring a condition of a user at a location, identifying an emergency situation in relation to the user at the location, and upon identifying the emergency situation, sending a notification message to a predetermined contact, the notification message comprising a temporary code to unlock a door lock at the location within a predetermined time period.

1. A method for geo-location services in relation to a user at a predetermined location, the method comprising:

monitoring, by a monitoring component of a control panel of an automation system, a physiological condition of the user based on data obtained from at least one sensors associated with the user at the predetermined location, wherein the control panel is at the predetermined location; receiving, by the control panel, data from a sensor of the monitoring component, indicating a first sequence of motion associated with the user;

wherein the change in the physiological condition indicates a fall detection of the identified user;upon determining the fall detection of the identified user, querying, by the component of the control panel, the identified user for a response; identifying, by the control panel, that the change in the physiological condition satisfies an emergency situation in relation to the identified user at the predetermined location and detecting vital signs of the identified user, in response to the change in the physiological condition, to determine whether the vital signs of the identified user are within a predetermined physiological range for the identified user;
wherein the emergency situation comprises the fall detection of the identified user and the identified user being home alone or being unable to get up based on at least a movement or a non-movement of the identified user satisfying a movement threshold;upon receiving no response from the identified user based on the querying, determining, by the control panel, a first location of a first contact and a second location of a second contact associated with the identity of the user and the emergency situation in relation to the identified user at the predetermined location, the first location and the second location being different from the predetermined location; and upon identifying the emergency situation, sending, by the control panel, a notification message to a device associated with at least one of the first contact and the second contact based on the determining the first location and the second location, the notification message comprising a temporary code to unlock a door lock at the predetermined location within a predetermined time period. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

7. A computing device configured for geo-location services in relation to a user at a predetermined location, comprising:

a processor of the computing device of an automation system; memory in electronic communication with the processor, wherein the memory stores computer executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to perform steps of; monitoring, by a component of the computing device, a physiological condition of the user based on data obtained from at least one sensors associated with the user at the predetermined location, wherein the computing device is at the predetermined location; receiving, by the computing device, data from a sensor of the component indicating a first sequence of motion associated with the user;
wherein the sensor comprises a video sensor for detecting the first sequence of motion that uniquely identities the user;identifying, by the computing device, an identity of the user based on the data indicating the first sequence of motion associated with the identified user; receiving, by the computing device, from the at least one sensors data indicating a second sequence of motion associated with the identified user, wherein the at least one sensors comprises a motion sensor; determining, by the computing device, a change in the physiological condition based on the data indicating the second sequence of motion, wherein said change in the physiological condition indicates a fall detection of the identified user; upon determining the fall detection of the identified user, querying, by the component of the computing device, the identified user for a response; identifying, by the computing device, that the change in the physiological condition satisfies an emergency situation in relation to the identified user at the predetermined location and detecting vital signs of the identified user, in response to the change in the physiological condition, to determine whether the vital signs of the identified user are above a predetermined physiological range for the identified user;

13. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, for geo-location services in relation to a user at a predetermined location, storing computer executable instructions that when executed by a processor, of a control panel, cause the processor to perform the steps of:

monitoring, by a component of the control panel, a physiological condition of the user based on data obtained from at least one sensors associated with the user at the predetermined location;
wherein the control panel is at the predetermined location;receiving from a sensor of the component data indicating a first sequence of motion associated with the user, wherein the sensor comprises a video sensor for detecting the first sequence of motion that uniquely identities the user; identifying, by the component of the control panel, an identity of the user based on the data indicating the first sequence of motion associated with the identified user; receiving, by the control module via the monitoring module, from the at least one sensors data indicating a second sequence of motion associated with the identified user, wherein the at least one sensors comprises a motion sensor; determining, by the control panel, a change in the physiological condition based on the data indicating the second sequence of motion;
wherein the change in the physiological condition indicates a fall detection of the identified user;upon determining the fall detection of the identified user, querying, by the component of the control panel, the identified user for a response; identifying, by the control panel, that the change in the physiological condition satisfies an emergency situation in relation to the identified user at the predetermined location and detecting vital signs of the identified user, in response to the change in the physiological condition, to determine whether the vital signs of the identified user being above a predetermined physiological range for the identified user;
wherein the emergency situation comprises the fall detection of the identified user and the identified user being home alone or being unable to get up based on at least a movement or a non-movement of the identified user satisfying a movement threshold;upon receiving no response from the identified user based on the querying, determining a first location of a first contact and a second location of a second contact in a contact list associated with the identified user and the emergency situation in relation to the identified user at the predetermined location, the first location and the second location being different from the predetermined location; and upon identifying the emergency situation and determining the first location of the first contact and the second location of the second contact, sending a notification message to a device associated with at least one of the first contact and the second contact, the notification message comprising a temporary code to unlock a door lock at the predetermined location of the identified user within a predetermined time period. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15)
