1. An optical power system, comprising:
- at least one optical power source providing;
a first optical power having a first optical power form; and
a second optical power having a second optical power form;
at least one optical control signal receiver configured to receive an optical control signal provided by an optical information signal source, wherein the optical control signal has an optical control form different from the first optical power form and second optical power form, and wherein the first optical power form is based on the optical control signal;
an optical conduit coupled to the optical power source and an optical power receiver and the optical information signal source, wherein the conduit is configured to transmit the first optical power form and the second optical power form in one direction and the optical control signal in the opposite direction; and
wherein at least one characteristic of the optical power source is adjusted based on at least one characteristic of the optical conduit, and the at least one characteristic includes at least one of wavelength or polarization; and
wherein a frequency of the first optical power form and a frequency of the second optical power form are configured to service differing components of a complex load.

at least one optical power source providing; a first optical power having a first optical power form; and a second optical power having a second optical power form; at least one optical control signal receiver configured to receive an optical control signal provided by an optical information signal source, wherein the optical control signal has an optical control form different from the first optical power form and the second optical power form at least in optical bandwidth, wherein the first optical power form is based on the optical control signal, and wherein the optical control signal includes information specifying a specific type and amount of electrical power desired; an optical conduit coupled to the optical power source and an optical power receiver and the optical information signal source, wherein the conduit is configured to transmit the first optical power form and the second optical power form in one direction and the optical control signal in the opposite direction, and wherein the optical power receiver is configured to convert the first optical power form into a first electrical power form having characteristics based on the specific type and amount of electrical power desired as specified in the optical control signal; and wherein at least one characteristic of the optical power source is adjusted based on at least one characteristic of the optical conduit, and the at least one characteristic of the optical power source includes at least one of wavelength or polarization. - View Dependent Claims (30, 31, 32, 33, 34)
