Method and device for receiving control information in wireless communication system
First Claim
1. A method for receiving control information on an Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel (EPDCCH) by a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving a subframe including one or more EPDCCH Physical Resource Block (PRB) sets; and
attempting to decode one or more EPDCCH candidates in each of the one or more EPDCCH PRB sets, wherein if a EPDCCH PRB set of the one or more EPDCCH PRB sets is overlapped with a transmission area of a first signal, invalid EPDCCH candidates, which are not attempted to be decoded, are determined according to whether a type of the EPDCCH PRB set is for localized EPDCCH transmission or distributed EPDCCH transmission, wherein if the EPDCCH PRB set is for localized EPDCCH transmission, EPDCCH candidates included in PRB pairs overlapped with the transmission area of the first signal among PRB pairs included in the EPDCCH PRB set are determined to be invalid, andwherein if the EPDCCH PRB set is for distributed EPDCCH transmission, all EPDCCH candidates included in the EPDCCH PRB set are determined to be invalid.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for receiving control information through an enhanced physical downlink control channel (EPDCCH), the method includes receiving a subframe which includes one or more EPDCCH physical resource block (PRB) sets, and attempting to decode one or more EPDCCH candidates in each of the EPDCCH PRB sets. When the transmission areas of the EPDCCH PRB set and a first signal overlap with each other, information relating to the EPDCCH candidate or information relating to the decoding is determined to be different according to one or both of EPDCCH PRB set type and/or cell identity (ID).

10. A User Equipment (UE) for receiving a downlink signal on an Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel (EPDCCH) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
-
a transceiver that transmits and receives signals to and from a network; a processor that controls the transceiver; and a memory that stores instructions for the processor; wherein the processor; controls the transceiver to receive a subframe including one or more EPDCCH Physical Resource Block (PRB) sets, and attempts to decode one or more EPDCCH candidates in each of the one or more EPDCCH PRB sets, and wherein if a EPDCCH PRB set of the one or more EPDCCH PRB sets is overlapped with a transmission area of a first signal, invalid EPDCCH candidates, which are not attempted to be decoded, are determined according to whether a type of the EPDCCH PRB set is for localized EPDCCH transmission or distributed EPDCCH transmission, wherein if the EPDCCH PRB set is for localized EPDCCH transmission, EPDCCH candidates included in PRB pairs overlapped with the transmission area of the first signal among PRB pairs included in the EPDCCH PRB set are determined to be invalid, and wherein if the EPDCCH PRB set is for distributed EPDCCH transmission, all EPDCCH candidates included in the EPDCCH PRB set are determined to be invalid.
