1. A replacement valve for use within a human body comprising:
- a valve component; and
a stent component comprising;
a first section comprising an annular groove, anda second section for housing the valve component,wherein;
the stent component and the valve component are configured to form a stent-valve, the stent-valve is configured;
in a collapsed configuration for delivery at an implantation site,a self-expanding expanded configuration after delivery to the implantation site;
the annular groove is defined by an annular indentation of the stent component which correspondingly presents an indented interior surface of the stent component,the annular groove including a diameter that is slightly larger than a diameter of the implantation site such that the stent-valve is secured in place by a friction fitting;
