1. A method of providing destination information to a user through a location-based service, the method comprising:

  • determining whether the user is approaching a destination along a guided route for the user based on mapped location information for the user, the destination being designated by the user and being within a building or other structure, the guided route being a travel route traversed by the user from a starting location to the destination; and

    activating a visual notification function associated with the destination after and in response to completion of the guided route for the user from the starting location to the destination along the guided route, whereinthe completion of the guided route for the user is determined based at least partially on indoor positioning information for the user, andthe visual notification function includes at least an indoor view screen in which an actual indoor view of the destination is displayed.
