1. A method of providing destination information to a user through a location-based service, the method comprising:
- determining whether the user is approaching a destination along a guided route for the user based on mapped location information for the user, the destination being designated by the user and being within a building or other structure, the guided route being a travel route traversed by the user from a starting location to the destination; and
activating a visual notification function associated with the destination after and in response to completion of the guided route for the user from the starting location to the destination along the guided route, whereinthe completion of the guided route for the user is determined based at least partially on indoor positioning information for the user, andthe visual notification function includes at least an indoor view screen in which an actual indoor view of the destination is displayed.

12. A system for providing destination information to a user through a location-based service, the system comprising:
a processor configured to execute computer-readable instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to determine whether the user is approaching a destination along a guided route for the user based on mapped location information for the user, the destination being designated by the user and being within a building or other structure, the guided route being a travel route traversed by the user from a starting location to the destination; and activate a visual notification function associated with the destination after and in response to completion of the guided route for the user from the starting location to the destination along the guided route;
whereinthe completion of the guided route for the user is determined based at least partially on indoor positioning information for the user, and the visual notification function includes at least an indoor view screen in which an actual indoor view of the destination is displayed. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14, 15, 16, 17)

19. A file distribution system for distributing a file of an application installed at a user terminal to provide destination information for the user terminal through a location-based service, the file distribution system comprising:
-
a file transmitter configured to transmit the file in response to a request from the user terminal; and wherein the application includes, a first module configured to control the user terminal to determine whether the user is approaching a destination along a guided route for the user based on mapped location information for the user, the destination being designated by the user and being within a building or other structure, the guided route being a travel route traversed by the user from a starting location to the destination, and a second module configured to control the user terminal to activate a visual notification function associated with the destination after and in response to completion of the guided route for the user from the starting location to the destination along the guided route, wherein the completion of the guided route for the user is determined based at least partially on indoor positioning information for the user, and the visual notification function includes at least an indoor view screen in which an actual indoor view of the destination is displayed.
