1. A method of displaying a map on a wireless communications device, the method comprising:
- determining position information of a position on the map;
displaying, via a user interface of the device, a graphical position indicator representing the position on the map;
determining address information corresponding to the position on the map, the address information comprising at least one street number, each street number denoting, a respective location; and
for each said at least one street number;
determining whether the location denoted by the street number is accessible from the position on the map, wherein the position information comprises a path segment and determining whether the location is accessible comprises determining whether the path segment provides access to the location;
if the location is accessible from the path segment, displaying the street lumber adjacent to the graphical position indicator, and;
if the location is not accessible from the path segment, not displaying the street number.

a display for displaying a map; and a processor operatively coupled to memory configured to cause the device to; determine position information of a position on the map; display, via a user interface of the device, a graphical position indicator representing the position on the map; determine address information corresponding to the position on the map, the address information comprising at least one street number, each street number denoting a respective location; and for each said at least one street number; determine whether the location denoted by the street number is accessible from the position on the map, wherein the position information comprises a path segment and determining whether the location is accessible comprises determining whether the path segment provides access to the location; if the location is accessible from the path segment, display the respective street numbers adjacent to the graphical position indicator, and; if the location is not accessible from the path segment, not display the respective street number. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17)
