a support substrate, and a series of the RFID transponders arranged on said support substrate such that there is a distance (D) between two successive RFID transponders, the transponder(s) having a transponder thickness (T), and a bridge arranged between the successive RFID transponders, the bridge having a bridge thickness (t), the transponder thickness (T) and the bridge thickness (t) being equal or at least essentially equal, and wherein the bridge is excluded from completed RFID transponders separated from the RFID transponder web.
