1. A surgical method, comprising:

  • forming a hole in a bone of a patient in a soft tissue repair procedure;

    implanting an implant in the hole, the implant including an anti-coagulation agent, wherein the implant is a tubular member, and an inner lumen of the tubular member is occluded when the implant is implanted in the hole such that the blood is prevented from flowing through the implanted implant until a selected amount of time has lapsed after completion of the soft tissue repair procedure, and wherein the implant has a suture extending therefrom; and

    pulling the suture from outside the patient'"'"'s body and thereby removing a plug from the inner lumen of the tubular member.
