1. A computerized method of generating video byproducts comprising:
- defining a plurality of macroblocks, wherein the plurality of macroblocks overlay a scene to be reported;
recording a plurality of images of the scene;
comparing motion of an object between a plurality of images by comparing a change in position of a macroblock that overlays the object;
recording the motion as a byproduct by recording a number of pixels of change in position of the macroblock; and
measuring a magnitude of change in position of the macroblock.
