1. A real-time location system, the system comprising:

  • at least one wireless signal collector, wherein the at least one wireless signal collector is for deploying on premises of an entity and configured to provide wireless multi-protocol communication with a plurality of wireless tags and a plurality of mobile devices; and

    a gateway device comprising at least one processor and a memory storing processor-executable codes, wherein the at least one processor is configured to implement the following operations upon executing the processor-executable codes;

    receiving a plurality of sense signals associated with a target each first period, each of the sense signals being generated by the at least one wireless signal collector being in operative communication with the gateway device, wherein each of the sense signals includes a measurement value associated with an identification of the at least one wireless signal collector and at least one of an identification of a wireless tag and an identification of a mobile device;

    dynamically calculating a location of the target based on the plurality of sense signals, the location being associated with the entity based on the identification of the at least one wireless signal collector; and

    sending the location of the target to a server for aggregation and storing in a data storage.
