1. A stent having a first end, a second end, and a stent length extending longitudinally between the first and second ends, the stent comprising:
- a first woven or braided tubular stent section;
a second woven or braided tubular stent section;
a third woven or braided tubular stent section;
wherein the first stent section is positioned between the second and third stent sections, wherein the first stent section is spaced apart from the second stent section by a first gap and the first stent section is spaced apart from the third stent section by a second gap; and
a flexible plastic material within which the first stent section, the second stent section and the third stent section are embedded, the flexible plastic material forming a first elastic tubular section and a second elastic tubular section, the first elastic tubular section extending between the first stent section and the second stent section and spanning the first gap between the first stent section and the second stent section, the second elastic tubular section extending between the first stent section and the third stent section and spanning the second gap between the first stent section and the third stent section.

Abstract
A stent for transluminal implantation comprises a first, second and third stent section for splinting and/or keeping open a hollow organ which are connected to each other via elastic tubular sections. The stent combines at least three different stent designs in one stent and can therefore be adjusted to the motion behavior of a hollow organ in an improved fashion.
