Concepts for providing an enhanced media presentation
First Claim
1. A method for providing an enhanced media presentation, the method comprising:
- receiving rundown data associated with one or more segments of an enhanced media presentation, the rundown data identifying a segment identifier for each segment configured to identify (a) the segment and (b) the video data associated with the segment;
receiving video data associated with a first segment, the video data comprising at least one tag identifying the first segment;
causing display of a user interface comprising a rundown portion and a video portion, wherein the user interface is configured to allow an end user to interactively experience a broadcasted enhanced media presentation;
causing (a) at least a portion of the rundown data to be displayed in the rundown portion of the user interface, and (b) at least a portion of the video data to be displayed in the video portion of the user interface, wherein (a) the at least a portion of the rundown data, and the at least a portion of the video data are displayed by the user interface simultaneously, (b) the at least a portion of the rundown data is displayed in a manner such that the rundown data corresponding to the first segment is configured to indicate that the video data for the first segment is being currently displayed, and (c) the at least a portion of the rundown data is displayed as a plurality of segment tiles, each segment tile corresponding to one of the one or more segments;
receiving updated rundown data indicating a second segment is now currently being displayed, wherein the second segment is not one of the one or more segments and a second segment tile corresponding to the second segment was not previously displayed by the user interface; and
causing display of the second segment tile in the rundown portion of the user interface in a position corresponding to a relative position of the second segment with respect to the one or more segments.

Abstract
Computer program products, methods, systems, apparatus, and computing entities are provided for providing an enhanced media presentation. In one embodiment, an enhanced media presentation is provided. To provide the enhanced media presentation, one or more content items associated with subject matter associated with a segment of an enhanced media presentation are identified. Each content item may be associated with at least one uniform resource identifier. Then, a content object based at least in part on at least one content item is created. The content object is an abstract representation of the content item. The content object can be associated with the segment and provided for simultaneous displayed simultaneously with at least a portion of the segment.
