1. A method of increasing heart contractility by applying an electrical therapy signal from an intraluminal electrode, the method comprising:

  • introducing a therapy signal delivery device through an internal jugular vein and into a pulmonary artery with aid of a Swan-Ganz catheter, the therapy signal delivery device comprising;

    the intraluminal electrode;

    an expandable frame comprising a superelastic material, the expandable frame comprising;

    a first collapsed configuration; and

    a second expanded configuration designed to contact a wall of the pulmonary artery against which the intraluminal electrode is positioned,the pulmonary artery including at least one of;

    a pulmonary trunk; and

    a right pulmonary artery; and

    applying the electrical therapy signal to the intraluminal electrode positioned in the pulmonary artery to modulate an autonomic cardiopulmonary fiber surrounding the pulmonary artery,the autonomic cardiopulmonary fiber comprising at least one of;

    a right dorsal medial cardiopulmonary nerve,a right dorsal lateral cardiopulmonary nerve,a left ventral cardiopulmonary nervea left dorsal medial cardiopulmonary nerve,a left dorsal lateral cardiopulmonary nerve, anda left stellate cardiopulmonary nerve,the electrical therapy signal being a biphasic waveform.
