1. An optical member, comprising:

  • a metal electrode, a λ

    /4 phase-difference plate and a linear polarization plate sequentially arranged in this order;

    a λ

    /2 phase-difference plate and a brightness enhancement film arranged between the λ

    /4 phase-difference plate and the linear polarization plate;

    wherein;

    there is an angle between an absorption axis of the linear polarization plate and a polarization axis of the brightness enhancement film;

    there is an angle between the polarization axis of the brightness enhancement film and a slow axis of the λ

    /2 phase-difference plate;

    the slow axis of the λ

    /2 phase-difference plate is parallel to a slow axis of the λ

    /4 phase-difference plate; and

    an angle between the absorption axis of the linear polarization plate and the slow axis of the λ

    /2 phase-difference plate is in a range from 30°
