1. A computer-implemented method for generating a graph of relative health of virtualization management servers, the computer-implemented method comprising:
- providing members of a virtualization infrastructure with access to a shared message stream of a social network such that the members of the virtualization infrastructure are able to post messages to the shared message stream and able to monitor messages generated by other members of the virtualization infrastructure posted to the shared message stream, wherein at least some of the messages are indicative of operational conditions of particular other members which generated the messages and wherein a member can establish an association of the message with an indication that the member identifies with an operational condition of a message, said members comprising non-human members, wherein the social network is arranged according to a hierarchy of the virtualization infrastructure and comprises non-human members of the virtualization infrastructure;
accessing performance information of a plurality of virtualization management servers of the virtualization infrastructure, wherein the performance information is related to health of the plurality of virtualization management servers;
aggregating the performance information of the plurality of virtualization management servers;
generating a graph of relative health of the plurality of virtualization management servers based on the aggregating of the performance information for the plurality of virtualization management servers; and
posting the graph to the shared message stream of the social network of members of the virtualization infrastructure.

Abstract
In a computer-implemented method for generating a graph of relative health of virtualization management servers, performance information of virtualization management servers of a virtualization infrastructure is accessed and the performance information is aggregated. A graph of relative health of the virtualization management servers based on the aggregating of the performance information for the virtualization server is generated, and the graph is posted to a social network of members of the virtualization infrastructure.

12. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions embodied therein that when executed cause a computer system to perform a method for generating a graph of relative health of virtualization management servers, the method comprising:
-
providing members of a virtualization infrastructure with access to a shared message stream of a social network such that the members of the virtualization infrastructure are able to post messages to the shared message stream and able to monitor messages generated by other members of the virtualization infrastructure posted to the shared message stream, wherein at least some of the messages are indicative of operational conditions of particular other members which generated the messages and wherein a member can establish an association of the message with an indication that the member identifies with an operational condition of a message, said members comprising non-human members, wherein the social network is arranged according to a hierarchy of the virtualization infrastructure and comprises non-human members of the virtualization infrastructure; accessing performance information of a plurality of virtualization management servers of the virtualization infrastructure, wherein the performance information is related to health of the plurality of virtualization management servers; aggregating the performance information of the plurality of virtualization management servers; generating graphs of relative health of the plurality of virtualization servers based on the aggregating of the performance information for the plurality of virtualization management servers; and posting the graphs to the shared message stream of the social network of members of the virtualization infrastructure, wherein the members of the virtualization infrastructure are mapped to the social network such that at least a portion of the members of the virtualization infrastructure are also members of the social network. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
