1. A method of performing transmission and reception related to device-to-device (D2D) communication, which is performed by a first user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

  • determining, by the first UE, whether or not the first UE locates at a cell boundary within coverage of a base station;

    stopping, by the first UE, uplink transmission to the base station on a first frequency band for a prescribed time period and searching, by the first UE, for a signal transmitted from a second UE during the prescribed time period, when the first UE determines that the first UE locates at the cell boundary within coverage of the base station;

    if the signal transmitted from the second UE during the prescribed time period is searched by the first UE, performing, by the first UE, a report to the base station,wherein the report comprises information on whether the second UE is proximate to the first UE; and

    when there is acknowledgement information that should be transmitted in a first subframe included in the prescribed time period in response to a signal transmitted from the base station, but the acknowledgement information cannot be transmitted from the first UE to the base station in the first subframe, transmitting, by the first UE, the acknowledgement information to the base station in a second subframe that is not included in the prescribed time period.
