First Claim
1. A display panel, comprising:
- a first substrate;
a scan line and a data line intersecting with each other and disposed on the first substrate, wherein the scan line extends along a first direction;
an active layer disposed on the first substrate and between the data line and the first substrate; and
a drain electrode and a first transparent conductive layer disposed on the first substrate and over the active layer, wherein a portion of the scan line, a portion of the data line, the drain electrode and the active layer forms a thin-film transistor, and wherein the drain electrode is electrically connected to the active layer through a first via hole, and the first transparent conductive layer is electrically connected to the drain electrode through a second via hole;
wherein the active layer comprises;
a first contact region electrically connected to the data line;
a second contact region electrically connected to the first transparent conductive layer; and
an intermediate region connected between the first contact region and the second contact region, wherein the intermediate region comprises a first channel region, a second channel region, and a non-channel region, wherein the non-channel region is connected between the first channel region and the second channel region,and wherein at least a portion of an outline of the active layer corresponding to the intermediate region and between the first channel region and the second channel region has an arc shape, and a projection of the second via hole on the first substrate only partially overlaps a projection of the first via hole on the first substrate.

Abstract
A display panel includes a substrate. A scan line and a data line intersect with each other and are disposed on the substrate. An active layer is disposed on the substrate and between the data line and the substrate. A transparent conductive layer is disposed on the substrate and above the active layer. The active layer includes a contact region electrically connected to the data line, a second contact region electrically connected to the transparent conductive layer, and an intermediate region disposed between the first and the second contact regions. A portion of the intermediate region overlapping with the scan line is a channel region. A portion of the intermediate region not overlapping with the scan line is a non-channel region. The width of the non-channel region is greater than the width of the channel region.
