1. A method of controlling a user interface using an input image, the method comprising:
- detecting a gesture from the input image;
identifying a function which currently operates on an electronic device;
identifying an operation executing information mapped to the detected gesture according to the function which is currently operating; and
executing an operation of the operation executing information,wherein, when the operation executing information mapped on the detected gesture is identified and the operation of the operation executing information is executed, information for classification or search corresponding to the detected gesture is tagged to the input image.

Abstract
A method of controlling a user interface using an input image is provided. The method includes storing operation executing information of each of one or more gesture forms according to each of a plurality of functions, detecting a gesture form from the input image, and identifying the operation executing information mapped on the detected gesture form to execute an operation according to a function which is currently operated.

1. A method of controlling a user interface using an input image, the method comprising:
-
detecting a gesture from the input image; identifying a function which currently operates on an electronic device; identifying an operation executing information mapped to the detected gesture according to the function which is currently operating; and executing an operation of the operation executing information, wherein, when the operation executing information mapped on the detected gesture is identified and the operation of the operation executing information is executed, information for classification or search corresponding to the detected gesture is tagged to the input image. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)

10. An apparatus for controlling a user interface using an input image, the apparatus comprising:
-
an image receiving sensor configured to receive an input of an image; and at least one processor configured to; detect a gesture from an image input through the image receiving sensor, identify a function which currently operates on the apparatus, identify operation executing information mapped to the detected gesture according the function which is currently operating, and execute an operation of the operation executing information, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to tag information for classification or search corresponding to the detected gesture to the input image when the operation executing information mapped on the detected gesture is identified and the operation of the operation executing information is executed. - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18)

19. A recording medium for controlling a user interface using an input image, the recording medium comprising:
-
an image receiving sensor configured to receive an input of an image; a memory; and programs which operate at least one processor configured to; detect a gesture from an image input through the image receiving sensor, identifying a function which currently operates on an electronic device, identify an operation executing information mapped on the detected gesture according to the function which is currently operating, and execute an operation of the operation executing information, wherein, when the operation executing information mapped on the detected gesture is identified and the operation of the operation executing information is executed, information for classification or search corresponding to the detected gesture is tagged to the input image.
