1. A method for receiving, by a user equipment, channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), the method comprising:
- receiving, by the user equipment, CSI-RS configuration information;
receiving, by the user equipment, CSI-RSs based on the CSI-RS configuration information; and
measuring, by the user equipment, channel state information (CSI) based on the CSI-RSs,wherein the CSI-RS configuration information includes CSI-RS pattern information indicating a CSI-RS pattern among a plurality of CSI-RS patterns defined for CSI-RS reception from 8 antenna ports,wherein each of the plurality of CSI-RS patterns defines 8 resource elements (REs) for the CSI-RS reception per resource block pair, the resource block pair defined by 12 subcarriers in a frequency domain and 14 orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in a time domain,wherein the 8 REs for the CSI-RS reception are defined by a set of 4 subcarriers among the 12 subcarriers and 2 OFDM symbols among the 14 OFDM symbols, andwherein the 2 OFDM symbols are corresponding to a first OFDM symbol set consisting of OFDM symbols 5 and 6 among OFDM symbols 0 to 6 of an even numbered slot, a second OFDM symbol set consisting of OFDM symbols 2 and 3 among OFDM symbols 0 to 6 of an odd numbered slot, or a third OFDM symbol set consisting of OFDM symbols 5 and 6 among the OFDM symbols 0 to 6 of the odd numbered slot.
