1. A muscle assessment protocol comprising:

  • a computer system communicating with one or more surface electromyometry (sEMG) sensors attached to skin of a subject so as to be operably coupled with one or more muscles of the subject;

    the computing system monitoring and/or recording sEMG data of the one or more muscles during a predetermined muscle activity of the muscle assessment protocol that includes a frequency-based or amplitude-adjusted root mean square protocol; and

    the computing system providing the sEMG data to the subject such that the subject can improve muscle performance for the predetermined muscle activity by using the sEMG data.
