1. A method for altering a point of presence of a user equipment, the method comprising:

  • detecting at a first portable cellular network communication system a user equipment (“

    UE”

    ) within a first covered area, wherein the first portable cellular network communication system independently provides a first movable cellular network within the first covered area without communication to another portable cellular network communication system;

    completing a handover routine with a second portable cellular network communication system such that the UE establishes a first cellular communication link with the first portable cellular network communication system and terminates a second cellular communication link with the second portable cellular network communication system, wherein the second portable cellular network communication system independently provides a second movable cellular network within a second covered area without communication to another portable cellular network communication system;

    determining at the first portable cellular network communication system that the UE includes a first point of presence associated with a remote portable cellular network communication system other than the first portable cellular network communication system;

    monitoring a wireless backhaul communication channel between the first portable cellular network communication system and the remote portable cellular network communication system; and

    based at least in part on a determination that the wireless backhaul communication channel between the first portable cellular network communication system and the remote portable cellular network communication system does not satisfy a connectivity threshold, signaling the UE to adjust the first point of presence, and providing the UE with a second point of presence associated with the first portable cellular network communication system for communication within the first movable cellular network.
