1. Apparatus for radioactive imaging of a volume, comprising:
- a conformable radiation camera configurable to a body contour of a patient adjacent a target area of interest;
the camera including a plurality of detector modules;
an adjustable support on which the detector modules are moveably mounted wherein position and orientation of said detector modules are moveable relative to each other including translational motion along at least a first axis and oscillatory movement of each said detector module about a respective second axis which intersects said first axis; and
an actuator arrangement for configuring the detector modules to conform the camera to the body contour;
wherein said detector modules are configured to sweep a plane within the volume, said sweeping a plane performed by adjusting a configuration of said detector modules, wherein said adjusting includes said oscillatory movement of at least one said moveable detector modules about said respective second axis, wherein said oscillatory movement is performable during said imaging to provide different views for imaging.

23. A method of radioactive imaging of a volume, comprising:

providing a conformable radiation camera that includes a plurality of detector modules mounted on an adjustable support, wherein position and orientation of the detector modules are moveable relative to each other including translational motion along at least a first axis and oscillatory movement of each said detector module about a respective second axis which intersects said first axis; identifying a body contour adjacent a target area of interest; linearly translating at least one of said plurality of detector modules to conform the camera to the contour; and sweeping a plane within the volume, said sweeping performed by adjusting a configuration of the detector modules, wherein said adjusting include said oscillatory movement of at least one of said moveable detector modules about said respective second axis, wherein said oscillatory movement is performed during said imaging to provide different views for imaging. - View Dependent Claims (24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54)
