1. An extracorporeal blood circuit device, comprising:

  • a blood chamber;

    a deaeration device integrated with the blood chamber for allowing air released from blood flowing in the blood chamber to exit the blood chamber;

    a sensor for measuring a blood constituent level, wherein the sensor performs measurements on blood in the blood chamber while the deaeration device allows air released from the blood flowing in the blood chamber to exit the blood chamber; and

    a flow diverter disposed in the blood chamber and configured to divert blood flow to enable deaeration of the blood flowing in the blood chamber while the blood constituent level in the blood in the blood chamber is measured by the sensor.
