Patent Images
1. A method for monitoring digital images, comprising:
- receiving, using a hardware processor, from a first user device, a digital image;
receiving, using the hardware processor, via a user interface presented on a second user device, a notification that the digital image includes objectionable content;
in response to receiving the notification, initiating, using the hardware processor, an investigation that automatically determines a category of the objectionable content depicted in the digital image;
generating, using the hardware processor, a report based on the received notification, wherein the report includes an identifier of the digital image, an identifier of the first user device, and the category of the objectionable content associated with the notification;
updating, using the hardware processor, metadata associated with the digital image by inserting a status of the investigation;
inhibiting, using the hardware processor, the digital image from being presented on user devices including the first user device and the second user device based on the category of the objectionable content and based on the status in response to receiving a request from one of the user devices for the digital image; and
transmitting, using the hardware processor, a message to the first user device indicating that the digital image has been blocked.

1. A method for monitoring digital images, comprising:
-
receiving, using a hardware processor, from a first user device, a digital image; receiving, using the hardware processor, via a user interface presented on a second user device, a notification that the digital image includes objectionable content; in response to receiving the notification, initiating, using the hardware processor, an investigation that automatically determines a category of the objectionable content depicted in the digital image; generating, using the hardware processor, a report based on the received notification, wherein the report includes an identifier of the digital image, an identifier of the first user device, and the category of the objectionable content associated with the notification; updating, using the hardware processor, metadata associated with the digital image by inserting a status of the investigation; inhibiting, using the hardware processor, the digital image from being presented on user devices including the first user device and the second user device based on the category of the objectionable content and based on the status in response to receiving a request from one of the user devices for the digital image; and transmitting, using the hardware processor, a message to the first user device indicating that the digital image has been blocked. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

9. A system for monitoring digital images, the system comprising:
-
a memory; and a hardware processor that, when executing computer executable instructions stored in the memory, is programmed to; receive, from a first user device, a digital image; receive, via a user interface presented on a second user device, a notification that the digital image includes objectionable content; in response to receiving the notification, initiating, using the hardware processor, an investigation that automatically determines a category of the objectionable content depicted in the digital image; generate a report based on the received notification, wherein the report includes an identifier of the digital image, an identifier of the first user device, and the category of the objectionable content associated with the notification; update metadata associated with the digital image by inserting a status of the investigation; inhibit the digital image from being presented on user devices including the first user device and the second user device based on the category of the objectionable content and based on the status in response to receiving a request from one of the user devices for the digital image; and transmit a message to the first user device indicating that the digital image has been blocked. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16)

17. A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing computer executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method for monitoring digital images, the method comprising:
-
receiving, from a first user device, a digital image; receiving, via a user interface presented on a second user device, a notification that the digital image includes objectionable content; in response to receiving the notification, initiating an investigation that automatically determines a category of the objectionable content depicted in the digital image; generating a report based on the received notification, wherein the report includes an identifier of the digital image, an identifier of the first user device, and the category of the objectionable content associated with the notification; updating metadata associated with the digital image by inserting a status of the investigation; inhibiting the digital image from being presented on user devices including the first user device and the second user device based on the category of the objectionable content and based on the status in response to receiving a request from one of the user devices for the digital image; and transmitting a message to the first user device indicating that the digital image has been blocked. - View Dependent Claims (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24)
