Abstract

An isothiocyanate functional surfactant, wherein the protonated form of said surfactant is represented by the following chemical structure:

wherein X includes an integer ranging from approximately 1 to approximately 25, and wherein Y includes an integer ranging from approximately 6 to approximately 25.

1. A surfactant formulation, comprising:

a surfactant or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the protonated form of said surfactant is represented by the following chemical structure;
