A method of treating an allergic disorder in a mammalian subject, comprising administering an immunotherapy treatment to a subject having a significant cell frequency of CD4+ T cells that are CRTH2 positive and CD161 positive,said method further comprising detecting a cell frequency of CD4+ T cells that are CRTH2 positive and CD161 positive in a biological sample of the subject,wherein the detecting is carried out by a method comprising:

  • contacting the biological sample of the subject with antibodies, said antibodies comprising anti-CD4, anti-CRTH2 and anti-CD161, and then detecting the antibodies to thereby detect the cell frequency of CD4+ T cells that are CRTH2 positive and CD161 positive in the biological sample.
