- an earpiece housing;
an intelligent control disposed within the ear piece housing;
a transceiver disposed within the ear piece housing and operatively connected to the intelligent control;
a microphone operatively connected to the intelligent control;
a speaker operatively connected to the intelligent control;
an inertial sensor operatively connected to the intelligent control to track head orientation and movement;
a sensor operatively connected to the intelligent control;
wherein the intelligent control is configured to receive input from the microphone, the inertial sensor, and the sensor and communicate the input through the transceiver to an electronic device in operative communication with the transceiver;
wherein the intelligent control is configured to receive incoming audio communicated from the electronic device in operative communication with the transceiver and process the incoming audio based on audio preferences;
wherein the intelligent control is configured to process voice sound communications received through the microphone to determine voice commands;
wherein the intelligent control is configured to use the head orientation and movement to provide additional contextual information.
