1. A surgical instrument system, comprising:
- a motor operable, inner core handle assembly capable of performing a plurality of operating parameters;
a plurality of types of end effectors each having a different color from one another, each type of end effector configured to be selectively, operatively coupled to the inner core handle assembly, wherein each type of end effector has at least one discrete function associated therewith; and
a plurality of disposable housings, each disposable housing including;
a housing portion defining a cavity therein configured to encase the inner core handle assembly, wherein the housing portion of each of the plurality of disposable housings has a different color from one another, the color of each housing portion being the same as the color of a corresponding type of end effector; and
a memory having, stored therein, at least one operating parameter for the inner core handle assembly, wherein the at least one operating parameter for the inner core handle assembly corresponds to the type of end effector operatively coupled to the inner core handle assembly.

At least a portion of the housing portion has a color that corresponds to a color of one type of end effector or adapter assembly. The memory has stored therein at least one operating parameter for the inner core handle assembly.

1. A surgical instrument system, comprising:

a motor operable, inner core handle assembly capable of performing a plurality of operating parameters; a plurality of types of end effectors each having a different color from one another, each type of end effector configured to be selectively, operatively coupled to the inner core handle assembly, wherein each type of end effector has at least one discrete function associated therewith; and a plurality of disposable housings, each disposable housing including; a housing portion defining a cavity therein configured to encase the inner core handle assembly, wherein the housing portion of each of the plurality of disposable housings has a different color from one another, the color of each housing portion being the same as the color of a corresponding type of end effector; and a memory having, stored therein, at least one operating parameter for the inner core handle assembly, wherein the at least one operating parameter for the inner core handle assembly corresponds to the type of end effector operatively coupled to the inner core handle assembly. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11)
