1. A non-contact power supply system comprising:
- a non-contact charging device configured to transmit electric power by magnetic coupling; and
a portable terminal device configured to receive electric power from the non-contact charging device in a contactless manner,the non-contact charging device and the portable terminal device each including a wireless communication unit for communication with each other,the portable terminal device including a battery that is charged by the non-contact charging device,the non-contact charging device comprising;
a wireless communication antenna coil that is used for wireless communication;
an electric power transmitting antenna coil part comprising a power supply coil and a resonance coil, and upon transmitting electricity, electric power is supplied from the power supply coil to the resonance coil to transmit electricity from the resonance coil to the portable terminal device; and
an adjustment circuit coupled to both ends of the power supply coil and configured to adjust sensitivity so that a resonance frequency of the power supply coil matches a resonance frequency of a resonance circuit comprised of the resonance coil and a resonance capacitor by being in an ON state when wireless communication is performed; and
a variable capacitance circuit coupled to the resonance coil, wherein a resonance frequency provided by the resonance coil and the variable capacitance circuit is changed for use when wireless communication is performed and when electricity is transmitted.

A wide charging area and communication area are ensured in a non-contact power supply system with wireless communication.
The present invention includes a resonance coil, a wireless communication antenna coil, a power supply coil, and a sensitivity adjustment circuit coupled to the power supply coil. When electric power is supplied in a contactless manner, the power supply coil and the resonance coil are coupled electromagnetically and electric power supply from the resonance coil is performed by using a magnetic resonance method. When wireless communication is performed, the magnetic fluxes of the wireless communication antenna coil are coupled with those of the resonance coil and sensitivity is enhanced by the sensitivity adjustment circuit.

6. A non-contact charging device that performs data transmission with a portable terminal device and supplies electric power to the portable terminal device, the non-contact charging device comprising:

a wireless communication unit that performs data transmission; a wireless communication antenna coil that is coupled to the wireless communication unit and is used for the data transmission; a power supply coil; a resonance coil; a suppression circuit coupled to both ends of the wireless communication antenna coil and configured to prevent a signal from the wireless communication antenna coil from being transferred to the wireless communication unit by being in an ON state when electric power is supplied to the portable terminal device; an adjustment circuit coupled to both ends of the power supply coil and configured to control communication sensitivity so that a resonance frequency of the power supply coil matches a resonance frequency of a resonance circuit comprised of the resonance coil and a resonance capacitor by being in an ON state when the data transmission is performed; and a variable capacitance circuit coupled to the resonance coil, wherein a resonance frequency provided by the resonance coil and the variable capacitance circuit is changed for use when wireless communication is performed and when electricity is transmitted, and wherein the resonance coil forms magnetic fluxes in accordance with data to be transferred when data transmission is performed and forms magnetic fluxes in accordance with electric power to be transmitted when electric power is transmitted. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8)
