1. A method of making a composition suitable for topical administration from fish eggs comprising:
- a) providing fish eggs;
b) processing said eggs to provide a cytoplasmic fraction from said eggs;
c) heating said cytoplasmic fraction to a temperature of from about 50°
C. to about 90°
C. for a period of greater than one minute to provide a heated cytoplasmic fraction; and
d) combining said heated cytoplasmic fraction with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers to provide a composition suitable for topical administration selected from the group consisting of a cream, gel, emulsion, ointment, spray, powder and a lotion.
