Abstract

A device comprising a first shared image device that captures at least one image representation. The first shared image device receives a request to share the at least one image representation to an at least one other shared image device. The first shared image device and the at least one other shared image device are each capable of capturing image representations. The first shared image device transmits the at least one image representation.

Claims

1. A system, comprising:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device;

circuitry configured for providing the first image to at least one of an image recognition program, a pattern recognition program, or an optical pattern recognition program for granting an authentication for the first shared image device based at least in part upon whether at least a portion of the first image includes at least the specified content;

circuitry configured for sending a request from the first shared image device to the second shared image device for the second shared image device to send at least a second image to the first shared image device; and

circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from the second shared image device at the first shared image device if the authentication for the first shared image device has been granted.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from the second shared image device at the first shared image device if the authentication for the first shared image device has been granted comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving at least one image that corresponds to at least one most recently captured image by the second shared image device.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from the second shared image device at the first shared image device if the authentication for the first shared image device has been granted comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving one or more of at least one thumbnail or at least one reduced resolution version of the at least a second image.

The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for providing the first image to at least one of an image recognition program, a pattern recognition program, or an optical pattern recognition program for granting an authentication for the first shared image device based at least in part upon whether at least a portion of the first image includes at least the specified content comprises:

circuitry configured for utilizing at least a portion of the first image captured by the first shared image device to obtain an identity of the second shared image device, the identity capable of locating the second shared image device on a network for receiving images from the second shared image device via the network.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from the second shared image device at the first shared image device if the authentication for the first shared image device has been granted comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving one or more transmissions from the second shared image device, the one or more transmissions including one or more of at least some text or at least some images.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for sending a request from the first shared image device to the second shared image device for the second shared image device to send at least a second image to the first shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for sending a request for the second shared image device to stream video to the first shared image device.

7. The system of claim 6, wherein circuitry configured for sending a request for the second shared image device to stream video to the first shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for sending a request for the second shared image device to provide always-on video to the first shared image device.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for sending a request from the first shared image device to the second shared image device for the second shared image device to send at least a second image to the first shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for recognizing a shared image device domain based at least in part on a photographic password sent by the first shared image device, the photographic password including at least the one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of the second shared image device.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from the second shared image device at the first shared image device if the authentication for the first shared image device has been granted comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from a capturing shared image device as the second shared image device.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from the second shared image device at the first shared image device if the authentication for the first shared image device has been granted comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from a peripheral shared image device as the second shared image device.

The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for providing the first image to at least one of an image recognition program, a pattern recognition program, or an optical pattern recognition program for granting an authentication for the first shared image device based at least in part upon whether at least a portion of the first image includes at least the specified content comprises:

circuitry configured for establishing a communication link for sharing at least one image between the first shared image device and the second shared image device based at least in part upon whether at least a portion of the first image includes at least the specified content.

The system of claim 11, wherein circuitry configured for establishing a communication link for sharing at least one image between the first shared image device and the second shared image device based at least in part upon whether at least a portion of the first image includes at least the specified content comprises:

circuitry configured for establishing a communication link between the first shared image device and at least one of another shared image device or the second shared image device.

The system of claim 11, wherein circuitry configured for establishing a communication link for sharing at least one image between the first shared image device and the second shared image device based at least in part upon whether at least a portion of the first image includes at least the specified content comprises:

circuitry configured for establishing an 802.11 communication link for sharing images.

14. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for photographing at least one of a still image representation or a moving image representation with a camera.

15. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for sending a request from the first shared image device to the second shared image device for the second shared image device to send at least a second image to the first shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for sending a request from the first shared image device, the request indicative of a user at the first shared image device actuating a shared button.

16. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for sending a request from the first shared image device to the second shared image device for the second shared image device to send at least a second image to the first shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for sending receiving a request from the first shared image device, the request indicative of a user at the first shared image device providing input on a menu displayed by the first shared image device.

17. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for receiving the at least a second image from the second shared image device at the first shared image device if the authentication for the first shared image device has been granted comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving at least one transmission, the at least one transmission including the at least a second image sent by the second shared image device if the authentication for the first shared image device has been granted by the second shared image device based at least in part upon whether at least the portion of the first image received by the second shared image device includes at least the specified content.

The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a barcode indicative of a second shared image device.

19. The system of claim 18, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a barcode indicative of a second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified pattern that can act as one or more of an identifier or a password.

20. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content according to one or more indications received by the first shared image device from a second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least scanning a representation of a barcode using an image sensor of the first shared image device to provide at least one of an identity or a photographic password for access to a second shared image device.

The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content according to one or more indications received by the first shared image device from a second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content for establishing peer-to-peer access of the second shared image device by the first shared image device.

The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for providing the first image to an image recognition program for granting an authentication for the first shared image device based at least in part upon whether at least a portion of the first image includes at least the specified content comprises:

circuitry configured for retaining an identity associated with the second shared image device, the identity obtained from the one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of the second shared image device and used in establishing a shared image network between the first shared image device and the second shared image device.

23. The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern on printed matter provided with the second shared image device.

The system of claim 1, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of one or more of at least some letters or at least some numbers identifying a second shared image device.

25. A system, comprising:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device, the one or more of a shape or a pattern including at least a barcode associated with the second shared image device;

circuitry configured for retaining an identifier associated with the second shared image device, the identifier obtained from decoding the barcode associated with the second shared image device at least partially using the first image;

circuitry configured for establishing a connection between the first shared image device and the second shared image device at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device; and

circuitry configured for receiving one or more transmissions from the second shared image device at the first shared image device at least partially using the connection established at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device.

The system of claim 25, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device, the one or more of a shape or a pattern including at least a barcode associated with the second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first mobile phone, including at least capturing the first image using at least one image sensor of the first mobile phone to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second mobile phone, the one or more of a shape or a pattern including at least a barcode associated with the second mobile phone.

The system of claim 25, wherein circuitry configured for receiving one or more transmissions from the second shared image device at the first shared image device at least partially using the connection established at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving one or more text-based transmissions from the second shared image device at the first shared image device at least partially using the connection established at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device.

28. The system of claim 25, wherein circuitry configured for establishing a connection between the first shared image device and the second shared image device at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for establishing a transfer mechanism capable of transmission of one or more email transmissions between the first shared image device and the second shared image device at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device.

29. The system of claim 25, wherein circuitry configured for establishing a connection between the first shared image device and the second shared image device at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for establishing a connection capable of transmission of one or more text-based transmissions between the first shared image device and the second shared image device at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device.

The system of claim 25, wherein circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device, the one or more of a shape or a pattern including at least a barcode associated with the second shared image device comprises:

circuitry configured for capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a picture of at least one of a card, label, or piece of paper with the second shared image device, the at least one of a card, piece of paper, or label including at least the barcode associated with the second shared image device.

31. The system of claim 25, wherein circuitry configured for retaining an identifier associated with the second shared image device, the identifier obtained from decoding the barcode associated with the second shared image device at least partially using the first image comprises:

circuitry configured for retaining an network address associated with the second shared image device, the network address associated with the second shared image device obtained from decoding the barcode associated with the second shared image device at least partially using the first image.

32. A method, comprising:

capturing a first image with a first shared image device, including at least capturing the first image to include at least a specified content, the specified content including one or more of a shape or a pattern indicative of a second shared image device, the one or more of a shape or a pattern including at least a barcode associated with the second shared image device;

retaining an identifier associated with the second shared image device, the identifier obtained from decoding the barcode associated with the second shared image device at least partially using the first image;

establishing a connection between the first shared image device and the second shared image device at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device; and

receiving one or more transmissions from the second shared image device at the first shared image device at least partially using the connection established at least partially based on the identifier associated with the second shared image device,

wherein at least one of the capturing, retaining, establishing, or receiving is at least partially implemented using at least one processing device.
