- at least one sensor configured to be removably attached to a patient and to sense data indicative of a cardiac condition of the patient;
an operator interface device;
an output device disposed in the operator interface device of the external monitoring medical device and configured to provide one or more output to the patient; and
at least one processor disposed in the external monitoring medical device, the at least one processor configured to cause the output device to provide the one or more output to the patient in a predetermined language of the patient;
wherein the external monitoring medical device can be worn by the patient.

27. A method for monitoring a patient by an external monitoring medical device worn by the patient, comprising:

detecting one or more ECG signals of the patient via a plurality of ECG sensing electrodes configured to be removably attached to the patient and coupled to the external monitoring medical device; sensing data indicative of a cardiac condition of the patient at the external monitoring medical device based on the detected one or more ECG signals of the patient; causing an output device disposed in the external monitoring medical device to provide one or more output to the patient, wherein the one or more output is configured to be provided in a predetermined language of the patient; and causing the output device to customize the one or more output to the patient, wherein the customization comprises outputting the name of patient via the output device. - View Dependent Claims (28, 29)
