Matching accounts identified in two different sources of account data

1. A method comprising:
- using first authentication credentials to obtain current data of an existing user account from a first party that maintains the existing user account in an ongoing relationship of the first party with a user, using second authentication credentials to obtain putative data of one or more putative user accounts of the user from a second party unrelated to the first party, matching the current data and the putative data to identify one of the putative user accounts for which the putative data is inferred to comprise data of the existing user account, presenting to the user information identifying the existing user account and the one putative user account, receiving from the user an indication that the existing user account matches the one putative user account, maintaining an ontology of data concepts associated with the putative data about the one putative user account and the current data about the existing user account, for a first computation that requires data of the existing user account, using at least current data obtained from the first party based on data concepts of the ontology expressed in a predefined computational rule, andfor a second computation that requires data of the existing user account, using at least putative data obtained from the second party, based on data concepts of the ontology expressed in the predefined computational rule, the first computation and the second computation generating data associated with the existing user account.

Abstract
Among other things, first and second sets of authentication credentials are used to access respectively data about a first set of one or more accounts from a first source and data about the one or more of the second accounts from the a second source. The data are analyzed to identify (a) one account of the first set of one or more accounts and (b) the one of the one or more of the second accounts as possibly a single account. After information is presented to a user an indication is received from the user that they are a single account. For a computation that requires data about the single account, data from the first source or data from the second source or data from both are used, based on a predefined computational rule.
