1. A wearable defibrillator system configured to be worn by a person who may be moving and to defibrillate the person by delivering an electrical charge to the person'"'"'s body, comprising:

  • a support structure configured to be worn by the person;

    a monitoring device configured to monitor at least one parameter of the person that is not an electrocardiogram (“

    ECG”

    ) of the person;

    a capacitor configured to store the electrical charge;

    an electrode coupled to the support structure, the coupling such that, while the support structure is worn by the person, the electrode is at one of an unbiased state in which the electrode is moveable with respect to the person'"'"'s body responsive to the person'"'"'s moving such that the electrode occasionally loses contact with the person'"'"'s body, and a biased state in which the electrode is biased towards the person'"'"'s body against the support structure so as to be less moveable with respect to the person'"'"'s body than when in the unbiased state, the electrode being configured to sense an ECG signal of the person when the electrode has thus transitioned to the biased state;

    a first biasing mechanism configured to cause the electrode to transition from the unbiased state to the biased state responsive to a value of the monitored parameter reaching a first threshold; and

    a processor configured to determine whether or not a defibrillation advised threshold has been reached from the ECG signal that is sensed by the electrode after the electrode has thus transitioned to the biased state, andin which the stored electrical charge is thus caused to be delivered to the person'"'"'s body responsive to determining that the defibrillation advised threshold has been reached, butthe stored electrical charge is not delivered to the person'"'"'s body responsive to determining that the defibrillation advised threshold has not been reached.
