1. A remote non-intrusive monitor of a space of a building for occupants, comprising:

  • a non-intrusive sensor module coupled to a power line for monitoring a space, the non-intrusive sensor module is configured to monitor the space from a position exterior a building encompassing the space; and

    a processor connected to the sensor module; and

    wherein;

    the sensor module senses data on the power line and provides signals representative of electrical power used at the space in response to power system disturbances in the power supplied to the building from a utility power system;

    the signals representative of the electrical power are analyzed by the processor; and

    analysis by the processor of the signals results in information about how a space and/or an element, component, environment, and/or occupant, if any, of the space responds to power system disturbances in the power supplied to the building.
