1. A method of processing signals, the method comprising:

  • in a first communication device that comprises a plurality of distributed transceivers, each distributed transceiver of the first communication device comprising an antenna array comprising a plurality of antennas, and a plurality of baseband processors, each baseband processor associated with a different set of distributed transceivers in the plurality of distributed transceivers;

    generating, at baseband, a data stream in a plurality of data streams by each of the plurality of baseband processors for transmission to a second communication device that comprises a plurality of distributed transceivers, each distributed transceiver of the second communication device comprising an antenna array comprising a plurality of antennas;

    selecting antenna patterns for the antenna arrays of the transceivers of the first communication device to perform beamforming between the antenna arrays of the transceivers of the first and second communication devices; and

    concurrently transmitting the data stream generated by each of the plurality of baseband processors, in a same carrier frequency, from the first communication device to the second communication device by performing beamforming between the antenna arrays of said plurality of distributed transceivers of the first and second communication devices using the selected antenna patterns.
