Abstract

A method for managing multiple electronic conference sessions. The method includes a computer processor identifying a plurality of conference sessions that a user is attending, wherein the plurality of conference sessions includes a first session and a second session. The method further includes a computer processor identifying one or more triggers that indicate an occurrence of an event in at least one of the plurality of conference sessions. The method further includes a computer processor determining that the user is an active participant in at least the first session of the plurality of conference sessions that the user is attending. The method further includes a computer processor detecting at least one trigger of the one or more identified triggers, within the second session of the plurality of conference sessions that the user is attending.

Claims

1. A computer program product for managing multiple electronic conference sessions, the computer program product comprising:

one or more computer readable storage media and program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage media, the program instructions comprising;

program instructions to identify a plurality of conference sessions that a user is attending, wherein the plurality of conference sessions includes a first session and a second session, and wherein at a least a portion of the first session and the second session occur at the same time;

program instruction to determine that an interface related to the second conference session includes a graphic control element that further includes a streaming text transcript corresponding to the second conference session;

program instructions to identify one or more predefined triggers of the user, respectively associated with the conference sessions that user is attending; and

program instructions to detect, an occurrence of at least one trigger of the one or more predefined identified triggers respectively associated with the second session, within the streaming text transcript corresponding to the second session, wherein program instruction to detect the occurrence of the at least one trigger of the one or more predefined triggers respectively associated with the conferences sessions further comprises;

program instructions to identify the occurrence of the at least one trigger based on utilizing a language function to identify text within the streaming text transcript corresponding to the conference session that is similar to a predefined trigger within the one or more predefined triggers corresponding the session related to the streaming text transcript, wherein utilizing the language function to identify text within the streaming text transcript corresponding to the conference session that is similar to a predefined trigger is further based on fuzzy logical and confidence intervals defined by the user.

2. The computer program product of claim 1, wherein the text transcript corresponding to at least the second session is generated in real-time.

3. The computer program product of claim 1, further comprising:

program instruction to augment the streaming text transcript corresponding to the second session with additional information, the additional information comprising at least one information element selected from the group consisting of;

a definition;

a citation;

a name of a presenter;

an element of a presentation identified by the presenter;

a computer file; and

wherein the additional information within the streaming text transcript is respectively identified by one or more visual indications.

4. The computer program product of claim 1, further comprising:

program instruction to determine that the user selects the interface related to second session;

program instructions to increase a size associated with the interface related to the second session that displays a presentation corresponding to the second session; and

program instructions to modify a connection of the user to the second session, wherein the modified connection to the second session enables the user to attend the second session as an active participant.

The computer program product of claim 1, wherein the plurality of conference sessions that the user is attending are conference sessions different from each other, and wherein the session of the plurality of conference sessions that the user is attending are selected from a group consisting of teleconference sessions and audio conference sessions.

6. The computer program product of claim 1, further comprising:

program instruction to respond to detecting the at least one trigger of the one or more predefined triggers respectively associated with the second session by modifying the interface related to the second session based on one or more user preferences.

7. The computer program product of claim 3, wherein program instruction to augment the streaming text transcript with the additional information further comprising:

program instructions to identify one or more elements of additional information utilizing one or more techniques selected from a group consisting of image processing, voice recognition, speech recognition, and contextual analysis.

8. The computer program product of claim 6, wherein modifying the interface related to the second session based on one or more user preferences includes applying a visual indication to the graphic control element that includes the streaming text transcript corresponding to the second session.

9. The computer program product of claim 1, further comprising:

program instructions to determine that the user selects the interface related to second session;

program instructions to increase a size associated with the interface related to the second session that displays a presentation corresponding to the second session; and

program instructions to modify a connection of the user to the second session, wherein the modified connection to the second session enables the user to attend the second session as an active participant.

10. The computer program product of claim 9, further comprising:

program instructions to modify a connection of the user to the first session, wherein the modified connection to the first session enables the user to attend the first session as an observer.

11. A computer system for managing multiple electronic conference sessions, the computer system comprising:

one or more computer processors;

one or more computer readable storage media;

program instructions stored on the computer readable storage media for execution by at least one of the one or more computer processors, the program instructions comprising;

program instructions to identify a plurality of conference sessions that a user is attending, wherein the plurality of conference sessions includes a first session and a second session, and wherein at a least a portion of the first session and the second session occur at the same time;

program instruction to determine that an interface related to the second conference session includes a graphic control element that further includes a streaming text transcript corresponding to the second conference session;

program instructions to identify one or more predefined triggers of the user, respectively associated with the conference sessions that user is attending; and

program instructions to detect, an occurrence of at least one trigger of the one or more predefined identified triggers respectively associated with the second session, within the streaming text transcript corresponding to the second session, wherein program instruction to detect the occurrence of the at least one trigger of the one or more predefined triggers respectively associated with the conferences sessions further comprises;

program instructions to identify the occurrence of the at least one trigger based on utilizing a language function to identify text within the streaming text transcript corresponding to the conference session that is similar to a predefined trigger within the one or more predefined triggers corresponding the session related to the streaming text transcript, wherein utilizing the language function to identify text within the streaming text transcript corresponding to the conference session that is similar to a predefined trigger is further based on fuzzy logical and confidence intervals defined by the user.

12. The computer system of claim 11, wherein the text transcript corresponding to at least the second session is generated in real-time.

13. The computer system of claim 11, further comprising:

program instruction to augment the streaming text transcript corresponding to the second session with additional information, the additional information comprising at least one information element selected from the group consisting of;

a definition;

a citation;

a name of a presenter;

an element of a presentation identified by the presenter;

a computer file; and

wherein the additional information within the streaming text transcript is respectively identified by one or more visual indications.

14. The computer system of claim 11, further comprising:

program instruction to determine that the user selects the interface related to second session;

program instructions to increase a size associated with the interface related to the second session that displays a presentation corresponding to the second session; and

program instructions to modify a connection of the user to the second session, wherein the modified connection to the second session enables the user to attend the second session as an active participant.

The computer system of claim 11, wherein the plurality of conference sessions that the user is attending are conference sessions different from each other, and wherein the session of the plurality of conference sessions that the user is attending are selected from a group consisting of teleconference sessions and audio conference sessions.

16. The computer system of claim 11, further comprising:

program instruction to respond to detecting the at least one trigger of the one or more predefined triggers respectively associated with the second session by modifying the interface related to the second session based on one or more user preferences.

17. The computer system of claim 13, wherein program instruction to augment the streaming text transcript with the additional information further comprising:

program instructions to identify one or more elements of additional information utilizing one or more techniques selected from a group consisting of image processing, voice recognition, speech recognition, and contextual analysis.

18. The computer system of claim 16, wherein modifying the interface related to the second session based on one or more user preferences includes applying a visual indication to the graphic control element that includes the streaming text transcript corresponding to the second session.

19. The computer system of claim 11, further comprising:

program instructions to determine that the user selects the interface related to second session;

program instructions to increase a size associated with the interface related to the second session that displays a presentation corresponding to the second session; and

program instructions to modify a connection of the user to the second session, wherein the modified connection to the second session enables the user to attend the second session as an active participant.

20. The computer system of claim 19, further comprising:

program instructions to modify a connection of the user to the first session, wherein the modified connection to the first session enables the user to attend the first session as an observer.
