Abstract

A bed device includes: an operation section that receives an operation input; a controller that controls a movement of the bed in accordance with the operation input; a detector that detects a position of a patient on the bed; and, a limitation table that stores a limitation area set on the bed in association with a limitation content, wherein when the position of the patient detected by the detector is included in the limitation area, the limitation content is read out from the limitation table so as to control the controller in accordance with the limitation content. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a higher safety bed device which can not only notify the danger based on the bed movement but also limit the movement of the bed in accordance with the status of the patient or the bed device.

Claims

1. A bed device comprising:

an input terminal capable of receiving an operation input;

a controller configured to connect to the input terminal and to control a movement of the bed in accordance with the operation input; and

a detector configured to detect a position of a user on the bed, wherein

when the operation input is received, if at least part of the detected position of the user is on a first area, the first area being defined on the bed, the controller is configured to temporarily restrict the movement of the bed corresponding to the operation input, and the controller notifies an alert in accordance with notifying information associated with the first area and the bed movement content, and

upon receipt of a confirmation of the alert notification, the controller is configured to remove the temporary restriction and move the bed in correspondence with the operation input.

2. The bed device according to claim 1, further comprising

a display unit configured to notify the alert, the display being configured to display a plurality of buttons including a continue button for moving the bed and a cancel button for canceling the bed movement.

3. The bed device according to claim 1, further comprising

a sound output unit configured to notify the alert.

4. A bed device comprising:

a controller configure to control a movement of the bed in accordance with an operation input and capable of controlling a form of the bed based on bed modes, the bed modes including a first mode and a second mode, wherein

when the operation input is received, if the form of the bed corresponds to the first mode, and the operation input relates to a prohibited movement of the bed associated with the first mode, then the controller temporarily restricts movement of the bed and notifies an alert in accordance with notifying information associated with the first mode and the bed movement content, and

upon receipt of a confirmation of the alert notification, the controller is configured to removes the temporary restriction and moves the bed in correspondence with the operation input.

5. The bed device according to claim 4, further comprising a display configured to notify the alert, the display being configured to display a plurality of buttons including a continue button for moving the bed and a cancel button for canceling the bed movement.

6. The bed device according to claim 4, further comprising a sound output unit configured to notify the alert.

7. A bed device comprising:

a controller configured to control a movement of the bed in accordance with an operation input, wherein

when the operation input is received, if the operating input relates to a bed function, and if a bed status corresponds to a prohibited status associated with the bed function, then the controller temporarily restricts movement of the bed and notifies an alert in accordance with notifying information associated with the bed status and the bed function, and

upon receipt of a confirmation of the alert notification, the controller is configured to remove the temporary restriction and move the bed in correspondence with the operation input.

8. The bed device according to claim 7, wherein the bed status is a status such that an angle of the bed is greater than a predetermined angle.

9. The bed device according to claim 7, wherein the bed status is a status such that a patient is staying in the bed.

10. The bed device according to claim 7, wherein the bed status is a status such that a patient is getting out of the bed.

11. The bed device according to claim 7, wherein the bed status is a status that a patient is staying within a predetermined area on the bed.

12. The bed device according to claim 7, wherein the bed function is a rolling function to change a position of a patient on the bed.

13. An alerting method in a bed device comprising the steps of:

receiving, by an input terminal, an operation input

controlling, by a controller connected to the input terminal, a movement of the bed in accordance with the operation input; and

detecting, by a detector, a position of a user on the bed,

wherein

when the operation input is received, if at least part of the detected position of the user is on a first area, the first area being defined on the bed, the controller is configured to temporarily restrict the movement of the bed corresponding to the operation input and notify an alert in accordance with notifying information associated with the first area and the bed movement content, and

upon receipt of a confirmation of the alert notification, the controller is configured to remove the temporary restriction and move the bed in correspondence with the operation input.

14. An alerting method in a bed device comprising the steps of:

controlling, by the controller, a movement of the bed in accordance with an operation input and a form of the bed based on bed modes, the bed modes including a first mode and a second mode; and

receiving the operation input into the bed device, wherein

when the operation input is received, if the form of the bed corresponds to the first mode, and the operation input relates to a prohibited movement of the bed associated with the first mode, then the controller temporarily restricts movement of the bed and notifies an alert in accordance with notifying information associated with the first mode and the bed movement content, and

upon receipt of a confirmation of the alert notification, the controller is configured to remove the temporary restriction and move the bed in correspondence with the operation input.

15. An alerting method in a bed device comprising the steps of:

controlling, by a controller, a movement of the bed in accordance with an operation input; and

receiving the operation input into the bed device, wherein

when the operation input is received, if the operation input relates to a bed function, and if a bed status corresponds to a prohibited status associated with the bed function, then the controller temporarily restricts movement of the bed and notifies an alert in accordance with notifying information associated with the bed status and the bed function, and

upon receipt of a confirmation of the alert notification the controller is configured to remove the temporary restriction and move the bed in correspondence with the operation input.

16. The alerting method according to claim 15, wherein the bed status is a status such that an angle of the bed is greater than a predetermined angle.

17. The alerting method according to claim 15, wherein the bed status is a status such that a patient is staying in the bed.

18. The alerting method according to claim 15, wherein the bed status is a status such that a patient is getting out of the bed.

19. The alerting method according to claim 15, wherein the bed status is a status that a patient is staying within a predetermined area on the bed.

20. The alerting method according to claim 15, wherein the bed function is a rolling function to change a position of a patient on the bed.
