Determining connectivity within a community
First Claim
1. A method for determining a network connectivity for a first node stored in a memory, the method comprising:
- identifying a plurality of links to a plurality of nodes the first node within a network community, wherein the plurality of links are stored in the memory;
using processing circuitry to;
identify a plurality of paths from the first node, wherein the plurality of paths comprises at least one path to each of the plurality of nodes, wherein each of the plurality of paths comprises at least one of the plurality of links;
determine a user connectivity value for each identified path;
for each identified path, produce a first network connectivity indication;
output the first network connectivity indication for each identified path;
identify an electronic interaction between the first node and one of the plurality of nodes;
reduce a quantity of paths in the plurality of paths by deleting a plurality of paths through at least one node that was changed based upon the electronic interaction,adjust a user connectivity value for a first one of the each identified path after deleting the paths through the at least one node that was changed based upon the electronic interaction;
for each identified path, produce a second network connectivity indication; and
output the second network connectivity indication.

Abstract
Systems and methods to determine trust scores and/or trustworthiness levels and/or connectivity are described herein. Trust and/or Trustworthiness and/or connectivity may be determined within, among or between entities and/or individuals. Social analytics and network calculations described herein may be based on user-assigned links or ratings and/or objective measures, such as data from third-party ratings agencies. The trust score may provide guidance about the trustworthiness, alignment, reputation, status, membership status and/or influence about an individual, entity, or group. The systems and methods described herein may be used to make prospective real-world decisions, such as whether or not to initiate a transaction or relationship with another person, or whether to grant a request for credit.

11. A system comprising:
-
a processor; a memory connected to the processor; computer executable instructions stored on a non-transient computer-readable medium, that when executed will cause the computer to determine a network connectivity for a first node stored in the memory, by; identifying a plurality of links to a plurality of nodes within a network community, wherein the plurality of links are stored in the memory; identifying a plurality of paths from the first node, wherein the plurality of paths comprises at least one path to each of the plurality of nodes, wherein each of the plurality of paths comprises at least one of the plurality of links; determining a user connectivity value for each identified path; for each identified path, producing a first network connectivity indication; outputting the first network connectivity indication for each identified path; identifying an electronic interaction between the first node and one of the plurality of nodes; reduce a quantity of paths in the plurality of paths by deleting a plurality of paths through at least one node that was changed based upon the electronic interaction, adjusting a user connectivity value for a first one of the each identified path after deleting the paths through the at least one node that was changed based upon the electronic interaction; for each identified path, producing a second network connectivity indication; and outputting the second network connectivity indication. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
