1. A vehicular control system, said vehicular control system comprising:

  • a forward viewing camera disposed at a windshield of a vehicle equipped with said vehicular control system;

    wherein said forward viewing camera views forward of the equipped vehicle through the windshield of the equipped vehicle and captures image data;

    said forward viewing camera comprising an imaging array sensor and a lens;

    a control comprising an image processor that processes image data captured by said forward viewing camera;

    wherein, responsive at least in part to processing by said image processor of image data captured by said forward viewing camera, other vehicles exterior the equipped vehicle are detected;

    wherein, responsive at least in part to processing by said image processor of image data captured by said forward viewing camera, road curvature of the road along which the equipped vehicle is traveling is determined;

    wherein data is wirelessly communicated from the equipped vehicle to a remote data receiver located remote from the equipped vehicle;

    wherein data wirelessly communicated from the equipped vehicle to the remote data receiver comprises data that is at least in part relevant to a current geographic location of the equipped vehicle;

    wherein data wirelessly communicated from the equipped vehicle to the remote data receiver that is at least in part relevant to the current geographic location of the equipped vehicle is derived, at least in part, from processing by said image processor of image data captured by said forward viewing camera;

    wherein data wirelessly communicated from the equipped vehicle to the remote data receiver is processed at the remote data receiver to determine information relevant to the equipped vehicle;

    wherein data wirelessly communicated from the equipped vehicle to the remote data receiver comprises map data relevant to the current geographic location of the equipped vehicle;

    wherein the remote data receiver receives data from another vehicle, and wherein, responsive at least in part to processing at the remote data receiver of data received from the other vehicle, at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) location of the other vehicle is determined and (ii) movement of the other vehicle is determined;

    wherein said control controls the equipped vehicle responsive at least in part to processing by said image processor of image data captured by said forward viewing camera; and

    wherein said control activates an alert system of the equipped vehicle to alert a driver of the equipped vehicle responsive to determination that the other vehicle is approaching the equipped vehicle.
