1. A method of providing inputs to an interactive computer game, comprising:

  • analyzing the interactive computer game to determine at least a first type of tracking mark recognized by the interactive computer game;

    detecting a first tracking mark of the type determined from analyzing the interactive computer game;

    recognizing at least one of a first pattern or a first shape of the first tracking mark;

    distinguishing the recognized at least one of a first pattern or a first shape of the first tracking mark from at least a second pattern or a second shape recognized by the interactive game;

    based upon distinguishing the first pattern or the first shape of the tracking mark, begin detecting motion of the first tracking mark; and

    ,based upon recognizing the motion of the first tracking mark, providing an instruction to the interactive computer game to turn off the interactive computer game.
