1. A method, comprising:
- receiving a reference data point at a time;
retrieving analyte data for the time based on signals from an analyte sensor configured to monitor a level of an analyte;
determining, for the time, a rate of change of the monitored analyte level;
performing a lag correction of the retrieved analyte data by at least applying the determined rate of change to a time constant;
determining a calibration parameter associated with the analyte sensor based on the reference data and the lag corrected retrieved analyte data; and
calibrating the lag corrected retrieved analyte data using the calibration parameter.

11. An apparatus, comprising:
-
one or more processors; and a memory storing instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to; receive a reference data at a time; retrieve analyte data for the time based on signals from an analyte sensor configured to measure a level of an analyte; determine, for the time, a rate of change of the measured analyte level; perform lag correction of the retrieved analyte data by at least applying the determined rate of change to a time constant; determine a calibration parameter associated with the analyte sensor based on the reference data and the lag corrected retrieved analyte data; and calibrate the lag corrected retrieved analyte data using the calibration parameter. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
