1. A method for providing quality management for products, the method comprising:

  • employing a multiplicity of barcoded quality indicators each operative to provide a machine-readable indication of exceedance of at least one threshold by at least one product quality affecting parameter, each of said indicators comprising;

    a first barcode including a first plurality of barcode bars and at least one first colorable area,at least a second barcode including a second plurality of barcode bars and at least a second colorable area, andat least a third barcode including a third plurality of barcode bars and at least a third colorable area,said quality indicator being operative to provide separate indications of exceedance of at least two different thresholds relating to said at least one product quality affecting parameter,said first barcode being readable before exceedance of a first of said at least two different thresholds,said second barcode being unreadable before exceedance of said first of said at least two different thresholds, andupon exceedance of said first threshold of said at least two different thresholds said first barcode becomes unreadable as a result of coloring of at least a portion of said at least one first colorable area and generally simultaneously said at least a second barcode becomes readable as a result of coloring of at least a portion of said at least a second colorable area; and

    reading said barcoded quality indicators to provide output indications;

    receiving said output indications; and

    interpreting said output indication to provide product quality status outputs.
