1. A computerized method, comprising:

  • connecting a wireless adaptor to a mobile controller, the wireless adaptor running in a background scanning mode wherein connectivity is maintained between the mobile controller and a remote controller on a first channel while scanning is conducted to seek an alternate connection between the mobile controller and the remote controller on a second channel;

    scanning with the wireless adaptor to automatically find available wireless access points and check the signal strength thereof;

    automatically connecting the wireless adaptor with the available wireless access point that has the strongest signal strength using the first channel;

    while retaining connectivity with the remote controller through the first channel, automatically continue scanning with the wireless adaptor using the second channel to try to find an alternative access point and check the signal strength thereof;

    automatically compare with the wireless adaptor the signal strength of the access point connected through the first channel with the signal strength of the alternative access point available through the second channel; and

    automatically maintain connectivity with the wireless adaptor between the mobile controller and remote controller through the channel associated with the access point that has the highest signal strength to maintain wireless connectivity between a mobile controller and a remote controller, wherein in the background scanning mode, data is alternated through a single wireless transmitter from both the first channel and the second channel based upon a time interval, wherein the data is alternated in bit packets based upon a predetermined bit packet size.
