1. An electronic device for long-term adhesion to a mammal, the device comprising:

  • a physiologic data collection circuit contained within a housing, the housing comprising a first material;

    a plurality of wings extending laterally from the housing each wing comprising an electrode positioned on a bottom surface of the wing, each electrode electrically connected to the physiologic data collection circuit;

    an adhesive layer positioned on the bottom surface of each wing; and

    an electrical barrier positioned on a bottom surface of the housing and configured to protect the electrodes from shortage, the electrical barrier comprising a second material.
