1. A computer system comprising:

  • one or more processors; and

    one or more computer-readable hardware storage devices having stored thereon computer-executable instructions, the computer-executable instructions being executable by the one or more processors to cause the computer system to;

    collect data corresponding to navigation sequences performed by a user;

    use the collected data to identify one or more navigation characteristics of the user, the one or more navigation characteristics describing a context of at least some of the user'"'"'s navigation sequences; and

    predict a next network address that the user will navigate to and pre-fetch a particular website associated with the next network address, wherein predicting the next network address is based on at least;

    the one or more navigation characteristics of the user; and

    a determined number of links that are displayed within in a current website that the user is viewing and that all point to the same next network address for the particular website.
