1. A system for measuring an analyte concentration in a host, the system comprising:

  • a sensor system comprising;

    a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of the analyte concentration in the host, andsensor electronics configured to operably connect to the sensor, the sensor electronics comprising a radio frequency module; and

    a receiver comprising;

    a processor configured to cause interrogation of the radio frequency module, and to process data received during the interrogation, anda display configured to display an estimated analyte concentration value associated with the processed data;

    wherein the radio frequency module is configured to transmit information representative of the analyte concentration to the receiver in response to the receiver interrogating the sensor electronics;

    wherein the radio frequency module is configured to transmit calibration information to the receiver in response to the receiver interrogating the sensor electronics; and

    wherein the displayed estimated analyte concentration value is based at least in part on the processed data and the calibration information.
