1. A system for powering an un-manned vehicle, the system comprising:

  • a smart battery that is removable from the un-manned vehicle, the smart battery including;

    a battery for powering the un-manned vehicle;

    a charging module coupled to charge the battery;

    a measurement module coupled to measure electrical characteristics of the battery;

    a battery unique identifier that identifies the smart battery;

    processing logic configured to receive the electrical characteristics measured by the measurement module and configured to receive a unique identifier of the un-manned vehicle that identifies the un-manned vehicle; and

    a wireless communication interface;

    a receive charging coil configured to receive wireless energy for charging the battery; and

    a wireless charger to wirelessly provide the wireless energy to the smart battery, wherein the wireless charger is not included in the un-manned vehicle, the wireless charger including;

    a power delivery module including a transmit charging coil to deliver the wireless energy to the receive charging coil; and

    a receiver, wherein the wireless communication interface of the smart battery is configured to transmit the electrical characteristics, the battery unique identifier, and the unique identifier of the un-manned vehicle to the receiver of the wireless charger.
