1. A pump cassette comprising a midplate interposed between a top plate and a bottom plate, the midplate having a first side facing the top plate and a second side facing the bottom plate;

  • the top plate comprising a pumping chamber wall of a pump; and

    comprising a first wall of a mixing chamber;

    the bottom plate comprising a pump actuation chamber wall of the pump opposite the pumping chamber wall of the top plate;

    a second wall of the mixing chamber opposite the first wall of the mixing chamber; and

    a first wall of a valve, the pump actuation chamber wall and the first wall of the valve having an actuation port extending away from a plane defined by the bottom plate;

    the first side of the midplate comprising a plurality of channel walls defining a plurality of fluid flowpaths;

    a pair of channel end walls adjacent to each other, each end wall enclosing a port penetrating the midplate and connecting to a fluid chamber of the valve on the second side of the midplate;

    the first side of the midplate also comprising channel walls of a first fluid flowpath and a second fluid flowpath of the plurality of fluid flowpaths, the first fluid flowpath and the second fluid flowpath being fluidically connected to respective first and second fluid ports of the first wall of the mixing chamber;

    the midplate comprising a first aperture between the pumping chamber wall and the pump actuation chamber wall;

    the middle plate further comprising a second aperture between the first and second walls of the mixing chamber;

    wherein the pump cassette is arranged to enclose a first diaphragm clamped between a perimeter of the first aperture in the midplate and a mating perimeter of the corresponding pump actuation chamber wall; and

    to enclose a second diaphragm clamped between a perimeter of the fluid chamber of the valve in the midplate and a mating perimeter of the corresponding first wall of the valve in the bottom plate; and

    wherein the mixing chamber does not include a diaphragm therein.
